You may be asked for additional information or documents during your application.

If available, it helps to prepare:

  • Any documents related to your identity, nationality, or family
  • Information about your travel to Ireland
  • Any documents you want the IPO to consider as part of your application

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities during the process

While your application is being processed, you are expected to:

  • Attend interviews or appointments when asked
  • Provide Biometric Identification such as your Passport where possible
  • Read letters or messages sent to you
  • Inform the IPO via email or Portal if your address or phone number changes
  • Cooperate with the process

If you cannot attend an appointment, you should contact the IPO as soon as possible..
